Arts and the community
For the past two decades, I've engaged in art therapeutically and as a visual artist, selling abstract artworks and leading arts workshops for both children and adults.
Creating, fostering connections, and embracing nature are integral elements of my personal and professional practices.
Art has served as a tool for me to navigate challenges, tap into my intuition, visualize and create goals such as travel and achieving a flexible work-life balance.
Throughout my career, I've had the privilege of working in various community and health settings, witnessing the transformative power of art for individuals coping with grief, trauma, anxiety, and depression. My experience includes supporting refugee families, survivors of domestic violence, individuals in aged care, hospitals, and children in hospice care. I've also addressed sensory issues, anxiety, depression, and social anxiety.
My approach is trauma-informed, and I enjoy collaborating with neurodivergent individuals and members of the LGBTQIA+ community. Additionally, I've facilitated mindfulness-based personal development workshops for both small and large groups.
I'm eager to connect with you and explore how we can collaborate to promote healing and growth.
